This Privacy Policy explains how Jyoti Pharmaceuticals ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information through the Jyotipharma Executive mobile application (the "App"). The App is an internal field-force tool used by our medical representatives and employees to manage attendance, visits, orders, and product information. It is not intended for use by the general public.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

2. Background Location Access

The App requests "Allow all the time" location permission on Android. This is used exclusively to track your location while you are punched in for the working day, so that your employer can verify field visits and provide live location visibility to authorized administrators during work hours.

• Location tracking only occurs while you are actively punched in.
• Tracking automatically stops when you punch out, and is automatically stopped by 9:00 PM local time each day as a safeguard if you forget to punch out.
• A persistent notification is shown by the App/Android whenever background location tracking is active, as required by the Android operating system.
• You may disable location permission at any time through your device settings; doing so will prevent the App's attendance and visit-tracking features from functioning correctly.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate core App features: attendance, visit logging, live tracking, product catalogue, and order management.
• To authenticate you and enforce role-based access to different parts of the App.
• To send you push notifications relevant to your account and role.
• To maintain audit and activity logs for internal compliance and security purposes.
• To troubleshoot issues and improve the App's reliability and performance.

4. Who Can See Your Information

Data collected through the App is visible to authorized personnel within Jyoti Pharmaceuticals only — specifically, administrators and managers with the appropriate role-based permissions in our internal management system. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following third-party service providers to operate the App, each of which processes limited data strictly to provide their service to us:

• OneSignal — push notification delivery. OneSignal receives a device push-subscription identifier linked to your account. See OneSignal's Privacy Policy.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting for our servers, database, and file storage.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account, attendance, visit, and order data for as long as you remain an employee or representative of Jyoti Pharmaceuticals, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for business records, audit, and legal compliance purposes.

You may request deletion or anonymization of your personal data by contacting us using the details below. We will process such requests in accordance with applicable law, subject to any legal or legitimate business obligations to retain certain records.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted password storage, role-based access controls, and secure data transmission (HTTPS) between the App and our servers. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

• You may review and update your name, email, and profile photo within the App.
• You may disable location or notification permissions at any time via your device settings, though this may limit or disable certain App features.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email below.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended solely for use by employees and representatives of Jyoti Pharmaceuticals and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
